This is the title of the book I just read. It is an autobiography from H. Norman Schwarzkopf the leader of the the Gulf War with the famous Operation Desert Storm in Iraq (1991).

I was surprised what interesting story this man has to tell. A nice piece of information for Swiss people: he went to school in Geneva. I liked the parts where he wrote about leadership, honesty, loyalty and the welfare of his soldiers. In this book he tells his side of the view, especially the differences between Vietnam and the gulf ware. The USA army did several failures in Vietnam and Schwarzkopf tried to do it better. What he finally accomplished.

Another exciting part of the book shows how he managed to pull the strings between the coalition (USA, Great Britain, France, eastern troops) and the politics.
