21
Yesterday, I went to the movies to watch 21 (imdb, official site). The story is about a genius boy who needs money to get into the Harvard med school. To gain the required 300′000$ he joins then a group of card counters who play black jack in Las Vegas.
This movie is based on a true story. But as I see it the film makers took only the basic idea and changed every thing else
What I really liked about this film where the unexpected twists which made it enthralling to watch. And I really liked the discussion in the class room where the teacher and the genius talk metaphorical but both know that they mean each other.

I just finished reading the book “Bringing Down the House” and it does sound like they changed many of the key motivations. I still want to watch it though, I’m especially looking forward to Kevin Spacey’s performance.
By the way, the book was a terrific read. Thrilling from cover to cover!
